Subaru of Georgetown

Goodness. Where do I begin to thank you for everything?

This entire experience with you was just incredible. As you know, I am hearing impaired and vision impaired. Who could have ever dreamed that my buying a car for my son could be so easy???

I spoke with so many dealers from Subaru and Toyota. The one thing that surfaced immediately was Toyota is a manufacturer to STAY AWAY from. They may have good vehicles (which the reports of late sure do not indicate), but their entire operation is questionable. Subaru shot straight as an arrow on all levels.

I appreciate your straight forwardness and your "let's get this thing done" approach.  While the Houston dealers I talked to were very nice, they just did not have that extra mile you have to get things worked through and accomplished.

John was just blown away with the Forester. That vehicle is just phenomenal!  It took him a little while to get everything figured out (luckily he is part of the tech savvy generation!), but in a short time had everything working and enjoying every second of it!

I have told everyone I know about this experience, and how incredibly easy the entire process went. I have told everyone that Georgetown is definitely the place to check first.  Everyone was quite skeptical about online car shopping. I have educated everyone I know that this was the ONLY way to go -- we could not be happier on any level. And you were the reason for that.

We appreciate your having Floyd and his daughter-in-law bring us the Forester more than you can imagine. Since I cannot drive (legally blind), it was very difficult trying to figure out how to get up to Georgetown to get the vehicle. You took care of that without wasting a minute. We are very grateful for that.

This entire experience was just a delight. John is just overwhelmed with the Forester -- it is an incredible car. And dealing with you made this a pleasure --and I know most people would not consider car shopping a pleasure!

  I was very interested in buying a 2010 Subaru Outback, and my first stop was Austin Subaru--which turned out to be an uninspired experience.  Next stop--drag myself up to Georgetown, to see if I could find a sales person who was knowledgeable, but not pushy.  And I found him.  Cary Torgeson was absolutely fantastic to me, from the get-go.  Patient, courteous, good-natured and totally accommodating--plus he knows his Subarus.  He answered questions on a Sunday (via email), graciously arranged to have me test-drive the car 3 times (he even offered to let me take it home!), and guided me through the entire car-buying experience in a clear and simple fashion.  It doesn't hurt that he's super-organized, sticks to what he's promised, and doesn't forget even the slightest detail.  Plus, he gave me a very fair trade-in price for my old Honda Pilot.  I recommend him without hesitation, and have already told him we're coming back to get my son a used Forester.  If you're interested in buying a Subaru, go see Cary--you won't be sorry!

This is a year overdue, but after service with other places, I had to help out buyers in Austin.

I bought my car at Subaru Georgetown, so they threw in free oil changes and free maintenance up to 24K.  A lot of dealerships will do that for you, but Rick was just an exceptional service advisor/manager (don't remember his exact title) to deal with.  He kept me in the loop when they had to replace my engine (long story), was friendly throughout the whole thing, and always had my loaner car ready to go.

My buying experience was typical, where they tried to make some money where they could, but in the end, no excessive bait & switch or nonsense like that.  

Moral of the story?  If you want a Suby in TX, come here, and you'll be happy
